Tasman Tanks appoints Craig Hemmings as dairy effluent sector manager

Leading New Zealand and Australian storage tankcompany Tasman Tanks, has appointed Craig Hemmings as dairy effluent sectormanager.

Mr Hemmings brings to his position more than a decadeof management experience with nationally and internationally recognised agriculturalcompanies.

As dairy effluent sector manager for Tasman Tanks, MrHemmings will oversee the operational management of the company’s dairyeffluent division in New Zealand.

“From small beginnings in 1996, Tasman Tanks has builtits reputation on designing, manufacturing and installing fully engineered andcertified tanks,” said Mr Hemmings.

“As tougherregulations around effluent storage take hold throughout New Zealand, our teamis looking forward to assisting dairy farmers to choose the best solution fortheir operations.”

In addition to various management roles in themanufacturing and agricultural sectors, Mr Hemmings has also beeninvolved in start-up companies linked to on-farm waste treatment and waste toenergy.

Tasman Tanks has constructed tanks for manyindustries, and has devoted a large part of its operations to growing its dairyeffluent storage tank department.

After building its first on-farm dairy effluent tankin March 2012, the company is now at the forefront of install builds andproduct innovation.

Hemmings has a Bachelor of Agricultural Science fromMassey University, specialising in all the major sciences.
