Stakeholder event to find project funding: Whiteboard Energy
After four years of filming and production, Whiteboard Energy were finally ready to launch their documentary. They challenged HMC Communications to lead the promotion and coordination of the premiere with the aim of attracting industry attention to gain funding to complete the remaining four episodes of the project.
A publicity and event plan around a premiere screening were used to target key electricity leaders to garner industry backing and financial support.
- As of December 2017, Whiteboard Energy had three very promising leads for funding of the remainder of the documentary.
- More than 50 industry leaders attended the premiere screening and more than 150 industry professionals were searching for more information.
- More than 115,000 people heard news about the documentary through traditional media.
